CrimTrac Corporate Structure Long Description

This Image displays the CrimTrac Organisation Chart current as of 11 September 2011.

The top level of the organisation shows the position of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) held by Mr. Doug Smith.

Supporting the CEO is an Executive Assistant, on the image, this role is located to the left of the CEO. Adjacent to the CEO and to the right, is the role of the Chief of Staff. Supporting the Chief of Staff is the role of Secretariat; this role sits beneath the Chief of Staff.

On the next level below the Chief Executive Officer are two roles:

• The Chief Information Officer (CIO) held by Mr Darin Brumby and
• The Deputy Chief Executive Officer (DCEO) held by Mr Jeff Storer. Both of these positions are supported by Executive Assistants.

Within the portfolio of the Chief Information Officer and visually sitting beneath the position are the following roles and services:

• National Biometrics and Child Protection Services
• ICT Solutions/Deputy CIO
• National Police Reference Services
• ICT Operations
• Project Management Office
• National Police Checking Technology Service
• Security Services

Within the portfolio of the Deputy Chief Executive Officer and visually sitting beneath the position are the following roles and services:

• Finance/Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
• Human Resources
• Governance
• Legal and Policy
• National Police Checking Service
• Strategic Communication
• Strategy and Planning

It must be noted that there is a relationship line between National Police Checking Service and National Police Checking Technology Services which sits within the Portfolio of the Chief Information Officer.
